Just when you think nothing is going right and you’re at the end of your rope, a guy climbs a crane over 200 feet tall at the corner of your street, and everything falls back into perspective. After class last night I found myself in a parking lot on a closed road staring up at a man who had went into a construction site and managed to climb this massive crane. As he paced back and forth, I couldn’t help but wonder what made him go up there. Honestly, if it were me, I’d do it for the view, but the helicopter and the spotlights would’ve totally ruined it for me.
I was out at Little Five taking pictures this morning, and I stumbled upon this little gem before my morning cup of coffee. Apparently there is a rather large loose snake roaming about. So for all you folks with your run of the mill lost cats and dogs, good luck with that. I hope for your sake Jeffery was fed before he went missing. I’d say you have about a week, before all bets are off.
I have to wonder…how did Jeffery get loose? Does he get free reign of the house or did he strategically break out of his cage of captivity?
So I think I’m in for another 1Q experience. Last quarter seems like a vacation, looking back now. We have two real client projects, and I have to be up every morning to take pictures at sunrise (and also sunset). That’s going to be challenging, because I’m perfectly content to stay up and work into all hours of the night until I can’t stay awake any longer. Now, I have to actually go to bed at a decent time, and by decent, it’s been anywhere between 2-3 am on average. Also, it’s getting colder, and I admit it, I’m the biggest baby about waking up (or not) in the winter when it’s cold.
Day two of third quarter…so far so good. I’m taking a natural light class and every day at sunrise and sunset we have to take pictures. It’s awesome because I’m always up for doing that, and I never think to do it unless I actually see it, so I’m hoping to get some good shots. On the other hand, that was when I had the time to do it! It’s going to be a challange. It’s a short window of time, and getting my night class teachers to be understanding will be interesting! I don’t like the idea of missing class time for the shots, so I’ll have to try to get good multiple shots on the nights I don’t have class. Hopefully, I’ll find some interesting places out of it. Photos to come!
